Haha, yes to all of that re: Recognition is. Not that kid-me noticed or anything. And I have to admit, back then I was less interested in Recognition than I was with the concept of soul names. In fact, going on with the comics, everytime I encountered a new couple Recognising each other, I reacted with "oh, okay, this again". The only time I was really into it was when Winnowill faked Recognition with Rayek.

Now, a couple of decades later, being in fandom has changed my taste in tropes a lot. Soulmates and soulbonds are a lot more my thing now, so I'm looking forward to reading more. *g*
