Readthrough Poll
Several people like the idea of a readthrough of the original series (available to read at the official EQ comics archive), and I'd thought "one per week," until
blnchflr pointed out that that meant five months to get through them, which might be a long time to keep people's interest levels up. Especially given how much other EQ content there is.
I plan on starting a readthrough soon. I don't guarantee to follow the votes here exactly (I'll be balancing votes with comments, which might offer more compelling insight than straight numbers), but I don't want to pick a method that'll make everyone but me unhappy.
With "original series readthrough" as our first community activity--how would you like to do that? Quickly to get everyone caught up, or slowly to use each issue as a starting-point for discussions or fic? Point-by-point commentary on the issues, or an overview post that says "OQ, issue X, Title--go!"

Maybe "1 day after 2nd-to-last commenter" would be quick enough. That means a single straggler doesn't slow down the pacing.

Acme Acres needs fanfic. Lots of fanfic.
I don't like most of the non-Wendy artwork, but I can't tell if that's because I don't like it, or because it's just not Wendy, and I find it jarring.
And I haven't worked through the "new quests" series at all, although I have sorted out the different quests so I can read them.

I like a lot of the later stories (The Rebels for instance is great fun to read).

Especially for the first series, which is going to end just before Yuletide stories get posted.
